With ever-increasing globalisation of the business environment, the number of interactions between people of different cultural backgrounds in professional settings (at the workplace with colleagues but also with clients and suppliers) is growing exponentially in companies of all sizes. As a result, to be an effective international manager, one must genuinely understand, practice and manage cross-cultural relationships.

The roots of KamelionWorld™  date back to 2003 when a Belgian commercial development outsourcing company started to successfully represent in Europe one of the world leading companies in the field of intercultural management. However, it became clear after a while that this US-origin company had a very standardised approach to multicultural training that was not ideal in a business world  where the traditional Anglo-Saxon business supremacy was becoming challenged.

So in 2008, the client-specific approach was launched with the vision to go beyond standardized and off-the-shelf cross-cultural services: KamelionWorld™ was born to train and coach executives to adapt their cross-cultural behaviour according to their specific company values and those of the countries they have to deal with, from working with a global (virtual) team  to get up to speed with an expatriate transfer as the case may be.
